How to define a Dynamic Range from Excel input.

A simple demonstration video of how to link live data from Excel. We use the Drag and Drop method to create a new variable. This variable will automatically be defined by the XLDATA function.

The first steps to making a model based on components using several instances of Powersim Studio, and drag and drop to use the components. In this video, you need to start a new instance of Powersim Studio. Simply hold down the Shift key while clicking the Studio icon in the Taskbar.

How to replace one of the sub models in the Oil & Gas Upstream model with a newer version from the component library, and how to re-arrange the models by removing the Cut-off model and associated models. In this new scenario, the information flow will have to go directly between the remaining models.

A Placeholder allows you to create an internal alias for a connected Excel workbook. Thus, if your workbook changes name or a date or index numbers is added to the name, you don’t need to update every reference to the workbook around the model.

Learn how a scalar model can be converted to an arrayed model. The Dimensions field is used to define a single numerical dimension, going from 1 to 3 using numbers like “1..3”.
